Internship — Interior Designer / Architectural Designer
XLMS is looking for motivated Interior Design and Architectural Design students or recent graduates to join our team in Hong Kong. This internship offers hands-on experience across real projects and the opportunity to work closely with an international multidisciplinary design team.
ResponsibilitiesRequirementsSupport the design team across interior and architectural projects
Assist with 3D modelling, visualisation and design development
Contribute to the development of design ideas and concepts
Prepare drawings, presentations and project materials
Coordinate with Project Leaders and team members
Manage assigned tasks effectively and meet project deadlines
Currently studying Interior Design, Architectural Design or a related discipline
Recent graduates will also be considered
Current students must provide an official university enrolment statement
Strong 3D modelling and visualisation skills
Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino 3D and relevant rendering software
Knowledge of AI design tools is highly valued
Knowledge of Archicad and AutoCAD is an advantage
Strong organisational and communication skills

Interior Designer / Assistant Interior Designer / CAD Technician
XLMS is looking for an experienced and highly organised design professional to support the delivery of interior projects across luxury retail, workplace, hospitality and residential sectors. The role combines design coordination, project management and site supervision within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
ResponsibilitiesRequirementsSupport the Director and project team throughout all stages of assigned projects
Coordinate and manage project progress, quality, cost and delivery
Supervise site activities and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
Ensure construction works comply with contractual requirements, specifications and project standards
Manage project documentation, including drawings, material submissions, meeting notes and progress reports
Establish and maintain project work plans, adapting them as project requirements evolve
Coordinate cross-disciplinary design and construction activities
Organise and prioritise project tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Degree or higher qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Studies, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Experience with interior fit-out projects and contractual documentation
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants and subcontractors
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
Good organisational, project management and problem-solving skills
Written and spoken English and Cantonese required; Putonghua is an advantage

Assistant Project Coordinator
XLMS is seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Project Coordinator to support the delivery of interior fit-out projects across workplace, retail and residential sectors. Working closely with the Project Director and design team, the role focuses on project coordination, procurement, site progress and communication with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected quality standards.

Assist with project budgets, schedules and procurement
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements
Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams
Assist with site inspections and quality control
Manage project documentation, reporting and general coordination
Support the Project Director and Designers throughout all stages of project delivery
Help identify and resolve coordination issues as projects progress
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Studies, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Draftsman / CAD Technician
XLMS is looking for a versatile Draftsman / CAD Technician with strong technical coordination skills and a good eye for design. The role supports our design team across commercial interior and architectural projects throughout China and the Asia-Pacific region, with opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary design practice.
ResponsibilitiesRequirementsPrepare and coordinate CAD drawings for architectural and interior fit-out projects
Develop general building plans, construction drawings and detailed documentation
Coordinate drawings with designers, consultants and project teams
Ensure all CAD documentation meets XLMS quality and drafting standards
Support the design team throughout project development and construction stages
Apply relevant local building regulations and technical requirements
Diploma in Architectural Design or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design or CAD drafting within an architectural or design practice
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Junior Draftsman position
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp or Archicad is an advantage
Good understanding of construction documentation and local building regulations
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
