Ian Hau

Ian Hau is an Australian-Chinese, EU registered architect and entrepreneur with over 25 years of expertise in urban design, architecture, interior design, and construction management. He founded XLMS in 2014, contributing to notable projects such as the Macau Maison L'Occitane Hotel, Langham Hotel Shenzhen, the construction HongKong Land Belowground at Landmark and Votions Studios industry leading XR virtual production facility.

Earlier in his career, Ian played a pivotal role in significant urban redevelopment projects in the Shanghai’s waterfront, including the North Bund, the Shanghai Lujiazui Qiantan International Business Zone, and DreamCenter in the West Bund. His portfolio also encompasses the 2005 Asian Games Stadium in Doha, Qatar, and the expansive 36 sq km XiXi Hangzhou Wetland Park Masterplan.

Ian’s achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the 2017 Perspective '40 under 40' award, the 2019 HKB Management Excellence Award for Innovator of the Year, and the 2020 German Design Award for Excellent Architecture. He is an EU Registered Architect, a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and a founding member of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design.

A graduate of the University of Technology Sydney in 2001, Ian began his career working on Olympic stadia and waterfront redevelopment under architect Philip Cox. He also served as an assistant professor at the University of Hong Kong from 2012 to 2013. In 2024, he was elected a Fellow of the Social Enterprise Research Academy (SERA).

Leslie Au Yeung

Leslie is an accomplished design and construction manager with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of the University of New South Wales in 2003, Leslie has worked across Australia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and the Middle East.

As the leader of XLMS, Leslie oversees multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects, including workplaces, retail spaces, hotels, and healthcare facilities. Notable projects include the construction of HongKong Land’s Belowground at Landmark, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Cleland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Votion Virtual Production XR Studio, and Macau Sands Cotai Central, which features renowned hotel towers and a large retail complex.

Leslie has received several accolades, including the Best Designer Apartment award at the 2022 Home Journal Awards and recognition from the Outstanding Property Award London for exceptional interior design. In 2020, they won the prestigious German Design Award for excellence in interior architecture.

Adrian Chan

Adrian has had a diverse and extensive career spanning mutiple fields, including accounting, investment bamnking, corporate finance, wealth management and business consulting. With a strong background in capital markets and unique transaction experience as a listed company c-suite, Adrian has been leverage his expertise and business acumen to help entrepreneurs and business owners scale and transform their businesses. Additionally, his experience in running a family office, an asset management firm and a management consulting platform has given him a deep understanding of wealth management and the importance of strategic decision-making. He has a proven track record and continue to help companies and individuals acheive their business and personal goals, including many fund raising and exit initiatives.

He is board member and audit committee chairman of publicly listed companies and board advisors to private companies.

John Lung

With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, John Lung is an esteemed Associate Director at XLMS. His expertise lies in interior architectural design, construction, and project management, and he has successfully delivered projects in Hong Kong, Macau, and China. John's extensive experience encompasses diverse sectors such as workplace design, integrated casino resorts, hotels, and luxury retail.

Some of John's notable projects include the renowned Parisian Macau, Langham Hotel Xintiandi, Melco Spa Macau, Venetian Macau, Grand Lisboa, and the Hong Kong Jockey Club. His leadership skills have been evident throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to design development and construction. John is dedicated to upholding XLMS' commitment to delivering projects of the highest quality within specified timelines.

During his tenure at XLMS, John has played a pivotal role in the construction management of the BelowGround Landmark retail and popup space in Hong Kong. As a design and construction manager, he has successfully executed projects such as the Lojel Headquarters, Votions Studio, Colgate Palmolive Offices in Hong Kong, Chow Sang Sang Headquarters in Shenzhen, Thialh Jewellery Stores, Paragon Offices, Shanghai ZNS furniture showroom, Tiger Family Office and Showroom in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Yoga Movement Studio and the Bowtie & JP Health Clinic projects.

Noel Chan

Noel Chan is a prominent leader at XLMS, overseeing the Luxury Residential sector of Interior Design. With 14 years of experience across Hong Kong and China, she specializes in Design and Construction Management for a diverse array of projects, including residential, clubhouses, workplaces, and retail spaces.

Her notable recent projects include the May Tower Luxury Apartment in Mid Levels, Wing On Towers in Jardine's Lookout, Lojel Hong Kong Headquarters, Chow Sang Sang Headquarters in Shenzhen, Saka Saka Offices in Hong Kong, and the Tassel Store in WF Central Beijing.

Recognized for her talent, Noel was named a 2024 Perspective Global Magazine '40 under 40' in the Interior Design category and received the Bronze Award for Best Designer Apartment (over 1,500 sq. ft.) at the 2023 Home Journal Awards for her design of the May Tower Apartment.

Noel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture from Middlesex University, underscoring her expertise and dedication to excellence in the field.

Kamila Pioterek

Kamila, a talented Architectural and Interior Designer. With a distinct European background and a design focus in Hong Kong, she has garnered extensive expertise across various sectors, including workplace design, retail spaces, and luxury residential projects.

Among Kamila's notable achievements are her contributions to significant projects such as the architectural design of Xian Yong'An Ge Yun Fang Retail Mall in China, the Lojel Hong Kong Headquarters, the Colgate Palmolive Office, the Bowtie Office, and the Braemer Hill Apartment Design.

Kamila excels in advanced 3D visualisation and design, enabling her to bring concepts to life with meticulous attention to detail. Her proficiency also extends to Building Information Modeling (B.I.M.), allowing her to develop comprehensive and efficient design solutions.

Highlighting her dedication to professional growth, Kamila holds a distinguished Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from Cracow University of Technology in Poland. This academic foundation underscores her exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to excellence in her field.

Kathy Lam

Project Manager & Registered Architect

Kathy Lam is a Registered Architect (HKIA) and Project Manager at XLMS. She holds a Master of Architecture from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MA (Hons) in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh.

With extensive experience in design and construction management, Kathy has delivered commercial, workplace, F&B, institutional, and specialist laboratory projects across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China.

At XLMS, she leads multidisciplinary design and build projects, including various workplace design and build projects within Hong Kong's Central business district, the renovation of the Hong Kong Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Union's Yuen Dou Camp in Fanling, and the architectural and interior design of the Starteam Advanced Manufacturing Facility & Office in Sichuan, China. Her work is distinguished by a strong focus on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and design excellence.

Victor Njo

Victor Njo is an accomplished Dutch Architectural Designer and Project Manager with an impressive career spanning over 25 years. He has cultivated his expertise in various regions, including Europe, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, the U.A.E. and Australia. Victor excels in formulating comprehensive strategies and delivering innovative architectural solutions for retail and workplace projects, with a specialization in mixed-use redevelopments and commercial retail spaces.

Victor's portfolio showcases notable projects such as the Belitung Maritime Silk Road Master Plan - Indonesia’s first Tourism Special Economic Zone, Mary Dalgar’s Corporate Headquarters in Shanghai, the Beijing Olympic Village and the impressive Capland Center Mixed-Use development in Qingdao. He was also instrumental in the transformation and development of GO! Malls in Vietnam and design lead for the award-winning (VUPA) Dragon Village by Phu Long Real Estate Development.

Since joining XLMS, Victor has assumed leadership roles in project management and retail design, spearheading remarkable ventures such as the Xian Yong'An Ge Yun Fang Retail Mall in China and overseeing the construction management of Colgate-Palmolive's massive 20,000 Sqft. Asia Pacific Headquarters in Hopewell Centre, Hong Kong and Tiger Family Office and Showroom in Hong Kong.

Victor is an E.U. Registered Architect with a Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from Delft University of Technology, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and professional qualifications.

Flory Cayboaen

Flory is a highly skilled and experienced architectural and interior designer with extensive commercial experience in retail and workplace projects.

Flory has been a key member of the XLMS design team since 2018. Flory is a licensed architect in the Philippines and possesses a creative flair, excelling in construction detailing, 3D design, and visualisation. She recently led the integration of innovative “Artificial Intelligence” design technology tools into XLMS.

Flory graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Saint Louis University Baguio City.

Angela Liu

Angela Liu joined XLMS in 2017, bringing her innovative approach and strong skills in three-dimensional conceptualisation and architectural detailing to a range of commercial projects, including hotels, retail spaces, and workplaces.

Her experience encompasses project coordination and construction management across Hong Kong, China, Macau, and more recently, Australia. Notable interior design projects include Maison l’Occitane and AXA Office in Macau, Azalvo Office and Cundall Engineering Office in Hong Kong, Steelcase Office in Kwun Tong, Langham Hotel - Treasures & Scent in Shenzhen, LG Household & Health Care Office in Hong Kong, Reckitt Office in Hong Kong, and Larvotto Luxury Apartments. In architectural design, she has contributed to projects such as the Wenchang Luxury Beachfront Hotel and the Cleland Wildlife Park Masterplan in Adelaide, Australia.

Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Chung Yuen Christian University in Taiwan and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of South Australia.

Hui Li Jun

Based in China, Hui has over 20 years of solid experience in architectural and interior design, as well as project management, particularly within the hospitality and commercial sectors. His portfolio includes a wide range of new building developments, where he has played a key role from project inception through to completion.

At XLMS, Hui oversees the full project lifecycle for various large-scale developments across China. His responsibilities cover concept design, design coordination, technical detailing, and on-site project execution. A crucial aspect of his role involves communicating and negotiating with multiple stakeholders, including design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project team members, to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with commercial and design objectives.

Hui’s technical expertise is especially valuable during the design development and construction stages, where his deep understanding of building systems and design integration contributes to efficient and high-quality outcomes. He is also a proficient user of Building Information Modeling (BIM), applying his skills in both building services coordination and architectural interior design. Hui’s balanced approach to creativity and technical precision consistently supports XLMS’s commitment to delivering innovative and well-executed built environments.
